GAITHERSBURG, MD : Patton Electronics (www.patton.com) has earned yet another accolade on the heels of last week's Product of the Year announcement.

Christina Smith includes Patton Gateways on her list of top ten VoIP products for 2012 in her December 27 posting on VoIP Insider—the blog for the online store voipsupply.com

VoIP Insider's ten-item list, which includes two Cisco products, cites Patton gateways as product number five. Also included are such non-gateway VoIP products as phones and PBXs, from Panasonic, Polycom, and Elastix.

As Senior Product Manager for VoIP Supply, Smith notes that many VoIP gateway suppliers charge as much (or more) as the cost of the product for their supplemental customer support packages.
