At Patton Electronics, we know that businesses are as unique as their
telephony systems. That is why we have developed a flexible range of VoIP solutions that will meet the requirements of any application for businesses of
all sizes. Our VoIP products and solutions have been designed to interface with
any existing equipment
or to provide complete end-to-end VoIP solutions.
For LAN or Intranet systems that connect many PCs, our SmartNode gateways are
used to connect to the public or private ISDN network. Workstations can include
e-phone handsets that plug into the PC's USB port, eliminating the need for a
separate telephone infrastructure. ISDN video and data services are often
integrated in these types of VoIP applications.
Enterprise solutions enable IT managers to deploy converged data/voice
networks. They are able to set up branch office extensions with ISDN and data
services, PBX networks with ISDN and Q.SIG and converged enterprise networks
with network-based services. WAN connections can be leased lines, frame relay,
Ethernet links or an Ethernet and IP backbone. The benefits of these systems
include reduced maintenance and management
costs, avoidance of toll fees and
better use of bandwidth.
Cost-Effective Carrier Solutions
SmartNode offers carrier-access solutions that can be scaled to reduce
infrastructure and maintenance costs. These solutions include Shared ISDN
Primary Rate Access for cost-effective access to standard ISDN lines, V5.2
Access over IP which allows full ISDN feature support over IP and full IP-based
local switching that connects legacy ISDN equipment to VoIP carriers, call
control and interconnection gateways.
