Contract Manufacturing and Design For Manufacturability - CM / DFM Patton offers RoHS Compliant Contract Manufacturing (CM), Design for Manufacturability (DFM), Logistics services and mechanical and electrical design CAD services from our ESD protected Gaithersburg, MD facility.
Our processes and associated chemistries are environmentally friendly and well controlled to ensure all excess and/or residual materials resulting from our processes are disposed of by licensed and bonded recycling firms.

PAIRing with Customers The Patton Advanced Innovation Research (PAIR) group performs original research to develop the next generation of algorithms and analytics for Patton products. Engagement with the PAIR team can be made at the Feasibility Study level or for full implementation. R&D services are also available to solve network, surveillance, and security problems.
PAIRing with Research Institutions PAIR seeks to partner with Research Institutions to bring appropriate research and new product ideas to market. Backed by our own US-based manufacturing facility and our global sales and distribution channels, Patton is in an unique position to help research become reality.
PAIRing through Government Programs The Small Business Technology Transfer Program seeks to fund new research initiatives by funding joint efforts between small businesses and research institutions. Patton's R&D Group works with several universities and other research institutions to help realize the research objectives of the Technology Transfer program.

PAIRing with Students The PAIR group enjoys working with University students at both the graduate and under-graduate levels at both our Gaithersburg, Maryland and our Philadelphia campuses. "Coops" enjoy the benefit of earning while learning either during a short-term summer project or through a longer engagement that occurs during the school year.
PAIRing through Patton Sponsored Technology Transfer Research (PSTTR) A new program being developed by PAIR and the Patton's Special Projects Group is the PSTTR program which will encourage research institutions to submit proposals for various topics directly to Patton Electronics for Patton funding and sponsorship.
