The new "high precision clock" SmartNode models

You might have read in
the press that there are new SmartNode models featuring a “high
precision” clock. These are variations of existing SmartNodes and are
sold as model codes 4961, 4635 and 4639. We claim the new models
eliminate interoperability failures that typically occur with DECT, PBX
and FAX equipment when converting ISDN systems to IP telephony.

Register SIP phones with your SmartNode by Marco Liechti |
An exciting upgrade has
been made to the most recent SmartWare release, R5.3: Up to three SIP
phones can now be registered on every SmartNode, without the need for
an additional license. This paves the way for everybody to test out the
great SIP registrar feature. The feature has been released previously,
but was only functional with the purchase of an optional software
license key.
