The SmartNode 4630 series is the newest BRI VoIP gateway in the SmartNode™ family of VoIP solutions. Featuring 2 or 4 basic-rate Euro-ISDN interfaces plus an additional fallback port, the ISDN VoIP Gateway provides 2 10/100 Mbps Ethernet ports plus an ADSL or G.SHDSL port for connection to the WAN. The product’s unique price/performance ratio and superb voice quality enable ISPs and service providers to offer highly-competitive, converged VoIP and broadband-data services to SME customers. Generally available since December 2005, the SN4630 is shipping in volumes.
The SmartNode™ family of converged voice, data, and multicast-video solutions offers carriers, enterprises, and consumers a complete range of multi-service VoIP gateways and routers for analog or digital voice that scale from 2 to 120 calls.
