By outfitting busses, trucks, vans, RVs, cars—even seagoing vessels—with Patton's BODi rS™ mobile hotspot router, any mobile enterprise can leverage the most cost-effective WAN services available to serve customers with local WiFi access and broadband Internet on-the-go. In a single cost-effective device, the BD004 provides a local wireless-mesh access point combined with mobile 3G/4G wireless-WAN connectivity based on seamless multi-network bonding and roaming. Patton has already begun taking orders for the mobile/portable BD004 3G/4G multi-network bonding router. Ocean liners, luxury coaches—virtually any mobile business—can use the one-box BODi solution to offer their customers local WiFi mesh service, protected by secure-encrypted firewall while ensuring survivable Internet connectivity via seamless multi-WAN routing with transparent bandwidth-on-demand. By bonding up to seven fixed/mobile links, the BODi product line offers mobile, transportable, on-demand bandwidth aggregation for mobile enterprises of all sizes—with 100 percent uptime. Seagoing vessels can employ Patton's BODi rS™ technology to leverage cost-effective 3G/4G/WiFi WAN services in harbor, then transparently handoff to VSAT WAN service while at sea, delivering seamless, survivable wireless WAN-access to passengers.
