We integrate hardware, firmware, and systems engineering to deliver highly reliable products used in demanding environments. We are growing our engineering leadership team and seeking an experienced Senior Program / Project Engineering Manager to drive execution of complex, multi‑disciplinary product development programs.
Position SummaryThe Senior Program / Project Engineering Manager provides technical program leadership across hardware, firmware, software, systems, and test engineering. This role owns program governance, executive‑level customer communication, and coordination across the full product lifecycle—from concept through production release. You will manage integrated schedules, drive engineering execution, maintain configuration and lifecycle integrity within Infor PLM and SyteLine ERP, and ensure development programs meet cost, schedule, performance, and compliance objectives. This is a high‑visibility leadership role supporting strategic product lines and key customer engagements. Key ResponsibilitiesProgram Leadership & Technical Integration- Lead multi‑discipline engineering teams through concept, design, integration, verification, and production readiness.
- Maintain technical baselines, requirements traceability, and configuration discipline.
- Run design reviews, integration checkpoints, and system validation planning.
- Align engineering teams with product and business objectives.
Customer & Stakeholder Engagement- Serve as primary point of contact for executive‑level customer discussions.
- Lead formal program reviews and roadmap alignment sessions.
- Coordinate large‑scale scope changes, technical issue resolution, and contract modification discussions.
Governance & Lifecycle Management- Oversee product lifecycle management in Infor PLM, ensuring BOM and routing accuracy with SyteLine ERP.
- Enforce design control, configuration management, and phase‑gate governance.
- Coordinate cross‑functional inputs from engineering, supply chain, operations, and QA.
Schedule, Risk, and Resource Management- Build and maintain integrated master schedules using WBS and critical‑path analysis.
- Balance resource assignments across concurrent programs.
- Identify risks early and drive mitigation actions covering engineering, sourcing, and manufacturing.
Compliance & Documentation- Support ISO 9001 and AS9100 processes during program execution.
(Note: This role supports compliance but is not a quality management position.) - Ensure technical documentation is complete, accurate, and audit‑ready.
- Contribute to technical proposals, SOWs, and lifecycle deliverables.
QualificationsRequired- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Systems Engineering, or related field.
- 10+ years experience in electronics or embedded systems product development.
- 5+ years leading multi‑discipline engineering or technical program teams.
- Demonstrated success delivering complex hardware/software products.
- Experience with ERP/PLM environments (Infor PLM + SyteLine preferred).
- Strong understanding of engineering change control, BOM structures, and configuration management.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills.
Preferred- Master’s degree in Engineering or Engineering Management.
- PMP or PgMP certification.
- Experience with ITAR/EAR‑regulated products.
- Background supporting government or defense programs.
