Director of Sales for Asia Pacific

The Director of Sales for the Asia Pacific is responsible for developing Patton business in the Region, including Channel Development, Key Accounts Development and Marketing Coordination. This includes active prospecting, pre and post sales activities and ongoing sales account management. The position demands the ability to produce revenue in the targeted market in the context of a globally dispersed team.


The successful candidate will have a solid understanding of IP and legacy telecommunication and industrial communication networks with a proven record of closing Key Accounts sales both directly and through channels.
This position reports to the VP International Development. 
  •  Develop customer base including:
    • Prospecting accounts in telecommunication, enterprise networking and industrial communication sectors; 
    • Accounts profiling and management; 
    • Identification of opportunities for Patton products;
    • Generation and preparation of offers and presentation and proposals; identification of sponsors, partner and advocates; order negotiation, sale closing, and providing after-sale services
  • Manage and expand the Channel and Partner organization within the region including but not limited to prospecting and selecting new channels, establishing and managing their relation with Patton, development of channels by conducting basic and extended sales and technical certification training, managing relations among channels.
  • Ongoing response to requests of customers for information, pricing requests, pre-sale and after-sale support and other sale assistance.
  • In cooperation with marketing department conduct and organize local events and other activities for promoting Patton Electronics brands and presence on the local markets.
  • Assisting Channel Partners with their business opportunities.
  • Solving channels conflicts.
  • Regularly providing an analysis of local competitive environment.
  • Regularly providing a sales funnel and report
  • Bachelor degree, preferable in Telecommunication, Information Technology or Business
  • Proven experience in sales of Telecommunication and Networking devices with 6 years records in the region
  • Knowledge about Telecommunication and Networking market in the region
  • Basic knowledge about Access Network and IP technologies
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Business plan preparation and execution skills
  • Competitive and Result oriented personality
  • Knowledge of English and other regional languages
  • Knowledge about sales procedures
