Patton-Inalp solves the problems of the affected businesses and governments through its SmartNode™ Models 2292 and 2294 Audio Extenders and converts the service on the IP network.�

Deutsche Telekom has cancelled all contracts for the product "standard analogue leased line" effective 30.09.2008. This affects mainly utility companies, business enterprises with machine-to-machine (M2M) applications, and German security authorities and organisations (BOS) whose analog radio stations were fed over analog leased lines. As of 30.09.2009, all analog leased lines are switched off. Patton-Inalp solves the resulting problem for many telecom customers with its new SmartNode ™ Model 2292 Series Leased-Line Extenders. Instead of connecting to the analog telephone network of Telekom, the customer now connects to the Model 2292 Extender, which converts the audio signals and transmits them over the IP network. Existing terminals on both ends of the line can still be used, so investments are protected.

Based on proven SmartNode™ technology, the 2292 extenders, provide continuous audio connection between the two endpoints. For added security, the Model 2292 is available with IPsec 3DES or AES capabilities to encrypt previously unencrypted analogue leased lines. Patented quality of service (QoS) features ensure consistent quality management in both directions.

Fixed ISDN connections (with signaling) can also be replaced with IP networks using the proven, intelligent SmartNode™ 4635 and 4639 VoIP Routers. Thanks to the Stratum 3 clocking of these models the best transfer quality is also guaranteed.�

Technical Details�
The Model 2292 comes with two audio lines; the Model 2294 has four. The bandwidth is in accordance with the specifications for analog telephony 3.1 kHz and 600-ohm impedance. For IP connection, the Leased-Line Extender includes a 10/100 Ethernet port, and is a complete IP access router with DHCP client and server, packet fragmentation, static firewall, NAT, NAPT, Access Control List, DMZ and IPsec. Particular emphasis is placed on the transfer quality. DownStreamQoS, a patented Patton-Inalp feature, is a powerful tool that guarantees incoming audio package availability. The adapters also support IEEE 802.1p, TOS, DiffServ labeling, IEEE802.1Q, VLAN tag insertion/deletion (simultaneous support of multiple VLANs), and H.323v4 voice signaling, SIPv2 standards.

(PA) Gaithersburg, MD (USA) und Bern (CH), 18.03.2009 | Die Abk�ndigung der analogen Standleitungen durch die Deutsche Telekom wird am 30.09.2009 umgesetzt - der Dienst wird abgeschaltet. Patton-Inalp l�st die Probleme der betroffenen Unternehmen und Beh�rden durch seine Audio-Extender 2292/2294 und konvertiert den Dienst auf das IP Netz.

Die Deutsche Telekom hat alle laufenden Vertr�ge zum Produkt �analoge Standard-Festverbindungen� zum 30.09.2008 gek�ndigt. Betroffen sind vornehmlich Energieversorger, Stadt- und Wasserwerke, Wirtschaftsunternehmen mit Maschine-Maschine (M2M) - Anwendungen aber auch Beh�rden und Organisationen mit Sicherheitsaufgaben (BOS), deren Funkzubringer �ber analoge Strecken gef�hrt werden. Am 30.09.2009 erfolgt unmittelbar die betriebliche Einstellung von anlogen Standard-Festverbindungen. Patton-Inalp l�st die bei vielen Telekomkunden dadurch entstehenden Probleme durch seine neuen Produkte der Serie 2292 und 2294. Anstelle der Ankopplung an das analoge Telefonienetz der Telekom erfolgt nun der Anschluss an die Patton-Inalp-Extender. Diese konvertieren die Audiosignale und �bertragen sie �ber das IP-Netzwerk. Die Endger�te auf beiden Seiten der nun wegfallenden Standleitung bleiben erhalten und die Investion ebenso.

Die Produkte 2292/2294 basieren auf der bew�hrten Smartnode-Technologie. Sie verf�gen �ber eine spezielle Hard- und Software, um eine permanente Audioverbindung zwischen den zwei Endpunkten zu gew�hren. Waren die bisherigen analogen Standleitungen von Haus aus unverschl�sselt, bieten die Patton-Produkte IPsec Sicherheitsfunktionen mit 3DES oder AES-Verschl�sselung der Verbindung. Dank patentierter Quality-of-Service-Features, kann eine normgerechte Leitungsqualit�t in beide Richtungen durchg�ngig gew�hrleistet werden.

Auch ISDN Festverbindungen (mit Signalisierung) lassen sich durch Produkte von Patton-Inalp �ber IP abbilden. Hierzu k�nnen die erprobten, intelligenten VoIP Router SmartNode 4635 und 4639 eingesetzt werden. Dank der Stratum 3 Taktung dieser Modelle ist auch hier bestm�gliche Qualit�t garantiert.

Technische Details
Der Extender 2292 bietet zwei Audio-Linien, der 2294 vier. Die Bandbreite betr�gt entsprechend der Spezifikationen f�r analoge Telefonie jeweils 3.1 kHz und 600 Ohm Impedanz. Zur IP-Verbindung hin verf�gen die Extender �ber einen 10/100 Ethernet-Port, einen kompletten IP-Access-Router mit DHCP-Client und Server, Paket-Fragmentierung, statischer Firewall, NAT, NAPT, Access Control-List, DMZ und IPsec. Besonderer Wert wird auf die �bertragungsqualit�t gelegt. Mit DownStreamQoS, einem patentierten Verfahren von Patton-Inalp, steht ein leistungsstarkes Werkzeug zur Garantie ankommender Audiopakete zur Verf�gung. Ebenfalls unterst�tzen die Adapter die Standards IEEE 802.1p, TOS, DiffServ labeling, IEEE802.1Q, VLAN tag insertion/deletion (simultanes Support multipler VLANs), sowie Voice Signalisierung: H.323v4, SIPv2.�
