Patton Passes 10th ISO-9001 Audit12.13.2000 GAITHERSBURG, Maryland, December 8, 2000 - Patton Electronics Company is pleased to announce its ISO 9001 certification has been renewed. Patton was one of the early adopters of the ISO-9000 standard gaining compliance to the standard in January 1996. Patton is pleased to now have 16 consecutive quarters of success in adhering to this important standard of Quality. On Tuesday December 5, 2000, Patton successfully passed its tenth ISO 9001 audit performed by Intertek Testing Services Inc. The audit examined ISO-9001 procedures and processes in the areas of Design Control, Document and Data Control, and the Engineering Department Quality Records. These procedures ensure customer satisfaction by standardizing processes, thereby preventing non-conformity at every stage of product design and production process. After rigorous review, all groups were found to be in full compliance and no areas of concern were noted. "The results of every audit are important to our customers," noted Becky Gill, Quality Assurance Director, Patton Electronics. "Carriers, ISPs and Network Integrators value vendors who deliver top-quality data communications products and services. ISO-9000 is just one of the things we do here to make sure we deliver this kind of value to our customers" Robert R. Patton, President of Patton said "In a culture of fast growth and the resulting changes, it is fantastic that we can maintain the integrity of the systems and processes that have made us successful to date. This is a tremendous credit to our employees." Patton's next ISO audit will be in June 2001. Patton Electronics Company Western Europe Office - Tel: (+44) 1707-331447; efax: (+1 801) 340-2617
