In their first joint market offering, the Patton-MTM alliance makes a new bundled IP-communications solution available to Mexico regional customers. The bundle comprises Patton’s SmartNode Branch eXchange (SNBX)–an IP-PBX appliance with Windows™ 7 and 3CX phone system software pre-installed—together with snom’s SIP-based VoIP phones, and an optional SmartNode™ VoIP gateway, router or IAD. The telephony bundle simplifies product-selection, purchasing and system-installation processes: integrators need only decide how many phones and simultaneous calls are required, and whether they are connecting legacy equipment to the IP-PBX infrastructure. “The bundle makes buying and installing much, much easier,” said Mr. Agustin Martinez, MTM Telecom Chief Executive Officer. “Plus customers have a single point of contact for service.
