Patton Electronics Company Purchases Clear To Send4.18.2000 Purchase of Melbourne, Florida-Based Datacom Product Business to Enhance Patton's Interface Converter, Multiplexer, and Sharing Device Product Lines GAITHERSBURG, Maryland, April 18, 2000--Patton Electronics Company, Washington D.C.-based manufacturer and marketer of network access and connectivity products, has announced the purchase of Melbourne, Florida-based Clear To Send (CTS). Established in 1991, CTS designs and manufactures standard and custom data communications devices, including: statistical and time division multiplexers, interface converters, short range modems, port sharing, and modem sharing devices. Patton currently plans to market CTS products under the CTS brand, as well as under the Patton brand. CTS specializes in high reliability, AC-powered datacom products.Standouts include the LDM-128K 2-wire/4-wire baseband modem, and the Model 2530 8-channel RS-530 statistical multiplexer.
