The Model 2158 CopperLink Ethernet Extender overcomes the distance limitations of Ethernet and extends the reach of your network connections up to 4,500 ft (1,372 m) on a single twisted-pair of voice-grade wire. The Model 2158 offers efficient, reliable, and cost-effective solutions for connecting peered 10/100Base-T LANs; reaching remote PC's and other network enabled devices; or delivering last-mile ISP services. The Model 2158 provides network performance over existing voice-grade telephone wire, eliminating the cost of installing new LAN grade cable or expensive fiber.
