Business Development Program Increases Sales

Patton's new Business Development Program (BDP) can give you a competitive edge when dealing with large national or international corporations that insist on direct-manufacturer relationships. Instead of passing up highly competitive OEM accounts, you can offer these customers a manufacturer-direct price and still earn a sizable profit. This way, you can expand your business into markets that are otherwise unreachable.

How does the BDP work? Instead of offering OEM customers your lowest price, let Patton offer them our lowest price. Once the OEM contract is assigned, we will pay you a commission on every product that we sell, according to the terms outlined in your Business Development Program Agreement.

Here's the Scoop:
To qualify for the BDP commission, you must:

1. Be one of Patton's authorized resellers;
2. Have a signed Agreement on file with Patton;
3. Provide Patton with sufficient written information to determine if the customer qualifies for the program (we look at accounts with a reasonable chance of purchasing 150K per year);
4. Receive written approval from Patton;
5. Sign a release describing the discount rate, commission term and commission amount;
6. Execute or facilitate a purchase agreement between the customer and Patton;
7. Provide ongoing sales and administrative support to the customer via warranty claims, purchase order processing and product support.

Commission Payment:
Commission payment will be made under these conditions:

1. Commissions will be paid in the form of a reseller account credit, by the 15th day of the month on amounts collected during the previous month. This is according to the time limitations specified in your written release.
2. Commissions will be paid on the net invoice price, excluding taxes, insurance, freight, etc.
3. If products are returned to Patton for any reason, any commissions must be returned via a direct invoice or account debit.
