FiberPlex FP2124R Ruggedized 24-SFP-Port Industrial GigE and 10Gig Managed Ethernet Switch

This Ruggedized Managed Industrial Ethernet Switch includes twenty-four (24) SFP Slot 100/100 Ports, four (4) 10/100/1000 Copper Ethernet (RJ45) Ports, and four (4) 1G/10G SFP+ Uplink Ports (for 32 Total Ethernet Ports).

• Gigabit and 10Gig Ethernet - Supports four (4) 10/100/1000 RJ45 Ports, twenty-four (24) 100/1000 SFP Slots, and four (4) 1G/10G SFP+ Slots.
• High Density SFP Support - A total of 28 SFP slots including 24 100/1000 and 4 1G/10G. SFP’s enable Flexible combinations of various types of Ethernet spans and Backbone Integration.
• Copper Ethernet Extension - Companion to Patton’s CopperLink SFP, delivering ethernet-over-copper at distances up to 3.5 Miles at rates of 18 Mbps.
• Link Aggregation - Link Aggregation provides enhanced throughput and network reliability.
• Multicast Support - IP Multicast with IGMP snooping, query, fast leave, filtering, group limited and MVR. Including Broadcast/Multicast/Unknown Unicast Storm Control.
• Configuration & Management - Configured with Web Console, Telnet, CLI commands. Includes Remote Port Configuration Setting and Statistics Monitoring. SNMP based management using IEEE802.1X, SNMP v1/v2/v3.
• Diagnostics - Local Syslog Information can be downloaded. Includes Port Mirroring for Online Diagnostics.
• Advanced Filtering & Security - IGMP, VLAN (IEEE802.1Q), QoS (IEEE 802.1p), and SNMP.
• Redundant Power Options - Single for Dual redundant internal universal AC (100-240VAC) or DC (18-60VDC) power supplies.
• Accessories Included - Comes with 19” Rackmount brackets (rack ears), power cable and RJ45 to DB9 serial Console cable.

The FiberPlex FP2124R is a ruggedized industrial 32-port managed Ethernet switch including twenty-four (24) SFP Slot 100/100 LAN Ports, four (4) 10/100/1000 Copper Ethernet (RJ45) LAN Ports, and four (4) 1G/10G SFP+ Uplink Ports.

This switch features VLAN, QoS, and IGMP and robust security features enabling highly manageable and secure network buildouts.  

The FP2124R is designed for use-cases that require high-density, flexible Ethernet connectivity, 10G uplinks and long-range operation over copper and fiber in harsh environments.  A high degree of modular flexibility with 28 port switching & routing capabilities.

It is suitable for use as a fiber backbone aggregation switch and offers a flexible range of LAN connections by leveraging SFP slots as local ethernet ports.

The switch can also be a companion to the Patton CopperLink SFP, whereby available SFP slots can be used for Industrial Ethernet applications delivering ethernet-over-copper at distances up to 3.5 Miles at rates of 18 Mbps.

When used with Patton’s SmartNode SN-SFP VoIP SFP Module the slots can be used for as a T1/E1 Emulation VoIP Gateway.

The 10 Gig Uplift SFP slots can also be used with Patton’s FiberPlex SFX-10dd, which provides for NSA Certified cross-domain security with optical data-diodes providing uni-directional data transmission with no return path.

The units boast fast millisecond-level multicast traffic redundancy for audio & video handling, smart cities, transportation, manufacturing, and surveillance applications.

The FP2124R is designed for rack-mount installation and offers dual redundant AC power.
