Overview
Patton’s CL241E is the only PoE splitter you will ever need. This Industrial PoE splitter can accept PoE power from 15W (802.3af) up to 90W (latest standard of 802.3bt). This splitter is even backward-compatible with 95W PoH and 60W uPoE standards.
The splitter takes the power delivered from the PoE of the Ethernet port and splits it onto a terminal block interface. The outgoing Ethernet port now has only Ethernet data, and the non-PoE devices can be powered at a wide variety of DC voltage levels from the terminal block.
This is a perfect PoE splitter for use in light industrial environments. The CL241E is housed in an IP30 rated DIN rail, wall-mount enabled enclosure and has a wide operating temperature of –40 to 167°F (40 to 75°C).
Its rugged design, wide temperature and power input range makes it an ideal model for security, building automation, transportation and telco applications.
The CL241E is very simple to use. All networking parameters are auto-detected. The only configuration required is to determine what voltage will be delivered to your non PoE enabled units, this configuration is made via a pair of DIP switches. LEDs will make it clear when PoE is being delivered and when DC voltage is being applied.
