Patton Announces Platinum-Plus Sponsorship at Broadsoft Connections 201710.19.2017 Patton will show why SmartNode products are the best CPE for BroadWorks and BroadCloud-based services. SmartNode VoIP… More than just talk!
GAITHERSBURG, MARYLAND, USA: As a Platinum Plus sponsor for this year’s BroadSoft Connections in Phoenix, Arizona, Patton Electronics—US manufacturer of UC, cloud, and IoT-enabling solutions for carrier, enterprise and industrial networks—will showcase the perfect customer premise equipment solution for providing automatically-provisioned network termination at the demarc for BroadSoft-based services, including BroadWorks and BroadCloud. Watch the Facebook Live interview with Patton’s executive management team Sunday 22 October, 7:15 PM Phoenix Time. Patton has been “re-thinking innovation” with BroadSoft for more than a decade. Interoperable with BroadSoft since 2006, Patton’s eSBCs with built-in telephony ports enable remote management of network services all the way to the customer premise. Patton recently released a new portfolio of CPE solutions with integrated ADSL2+/VSDL2 interfaces that include state-of-the-art DSL vectoring technology. On the cloud services front, Patton entered the SDN/NFV arena in March of last year with a virtual eSBC. “Deployment is touchless. Configuration is touchless. Provisioning is touchless,” said Bret Patton, Product Manager. “Management is automatic. Monitoring is built in. And now Patton’s artificially intelligent survivability means that failover just happens, without needing to change anything in the network. That means you can attract more subscribers, scale with a much lower deployment cost, sell more seats and make more money per seat.” SmartNode eSBCs offer a built-in BroadSoft PacketSmart probe. Available as a licensed feature on SmartNode VoIP products, the PacketSmart Probe allows service providers to use a SmartNode CPE device to remotely and proactively monitor the health and performance of the subscriber WAN-access link and enterprise LAN. Patton’s carrier-grade dual image feature—rarely found in low-port-count CPE—provides fallback/recovery for service continuity during network-wide software upgrades. The combination of such high-performance features make it faster and easier to activate, operate, monitor, measure and troubleshoot the latest SIP-based communications services. That means providers can sell more services to more SMB customers. For service providers, Patton’s innovative value cluster drives more hard-won revenues to the bottom line by delivering substantial cost savings during installation and operation. In related news, last week Patton announced a tiny new low-cost VoIP ATA. In the prior week, the company announced it has joined forces with FiberPlex to build an enterprise communications infrastructure powerhouse.
