INTERNET TELEPHONY (IT) Magazine has awarded the 2016 Communications Solutions Products of the Year Award to the SmartNode 5540 Enterprise Session Border Controller (eSBC) with 2, 4, or 8 integrated analog FXS telephony interfaces. Merging media gateway functions with high-performance eSBC capabilities in a single, low-cost, customer-premise device, Patton simplifies network architecture and reduces overall hardware costs when implementing IP-telephony and unified-communications (UC) solutions.
