Overview
Patton’s Model 3088A/I G.SHDSL.bis OnSite EFM CPE is the perfect choice for users or service providers who need high-speed dedicated network connections. Based on the ITU and ETSI G.Shdsl G.991.2 standard, the 3088A/I enables providers to extend their reach-and-range by delivering rate-adaptive nx64 symmetrical speeds up to 5.7 Mbps—all over a single pair of wires.
The OnSite 3088A/I uses Patton’s Plug ‘n’ Play features to remove any CPE configuration issues when used with any Patton CO concentration solution, even another 3088A/I CPE. Just set the units to their default mode and plug them in. The remote modem configures automatically and the link is up and running in seconds. With support for remote console link configuration changes and operating statistics are available via the out-of-band EOC channel. Remote and local loopback adds to the manageability of the link. Use remote console when deploying OnSite EFM CPEs either back-to-back or with a ForeFront system to improve the manageability of the EFM CPE.
The Model 3088A/I is available with a 4-port 10/100 Ethenet switch.
