FiberPlex SFP-SH12 SFP Optical Modules optimized for 12G SDI Video over Fiber

The SFP-SH12 series optical modules are optimized for 12G SDI Optical Video. Including Transmitters, Receivers and Transceivers, the units send and receive SDI signals up to 12G with support for SDI pathological patterns.

The Transceiver (SFP-SH12XC-3131-M) is a SD to 12G-SDI optical transceiver designed to transmit and receive one SDI signal up to 12Gbps over single mode fiber as defined in ST297, ST259, ST292, ST424, ST2081, ST2082.

The Receiver (SFP-SH12R2-0031-MN) is a SD to 12G-SDI dual optical PIN receiver designed to receive two SDI signals up to 12Gbps over single mode fiber as defined in ST297.  It offers two high sensitivity receivers.

The modules support SDI pathological test patterns and has a high sensitivity receiver and a high-power transmitter.

The units provide module identification information and diagnostic through a 2-wire serial interface. It is also hot pluggable/removable solution for in field system upgrade and maintenance. The SFP-SH12 units are interchangeable with other MSA and non-MSA datacom pinouts improving product flexibility.
