To enhance Lync with a legacy PSTN or an analogue terminal a Voice over IP gateway is required. The SmartNode products line, Certified for Lync by Microsoft, is the right choose for such a scenario. A step by step configuration guide to configure the SmartNode to work with Lync can be found in the attached presentation.
