How to change the Payload type when using Transparent Clearmode with Cisco Equipment? | |||
Article Id #: 51 | |||
Unfortunately at this time there is no way to change the RTP Payload type when using the named ‘transparent-cisco’ codec. Because Cisco deviates from the excepted standard protocol the Smartnode has a second Codec for communication specifically with Cisco Equipment. The command ‘rtp payloadtype transparent-clearmode’ will only effect the codec named ‘transparent-clearmode’. Because of this limitation please be aware that ‘transparent-cisco’ will always communicate with a payload type of #116 so you must change the remote equipment accordingly. |
