The TKIT-12G offers single or dual channel 12G-SDI Fiber Transport. These Converter/Extender kits extend 12G-SDI video over fiber.

The TKIT-12G SDI Fiber Converter extends 12G-SDI digital video (75ohm HD-BNC™ Coax) over fiber.  The TKIT-12G is offered in two versions.  The units offer either bi-Directional (Transceiver) and multi-channel (Transmitter or Receiver) support.   

The TKIT-12G/1CH offers bidirectional 12G/6G/3G/HD/SD-SDI over two fibers, like a Transceiver.

The TKIT-12G/2CH offers support for 2 channels of 12G/6G/3G/HD/SD-SDI in one direction over fiber.  You need to use two strands of single mode fiber to support two channels, using a Transmit Unit on one side and a Receive unit on the other.  Only one single mode fiber is required for one channel of single direction transport.

The TKIT 12G is ideal for modern broadcast and production environments where workflows are required between uncompressed 12G/6G/3G/HD/SD-SDI.
