The SmartNode ESBR offers interoperability with BroadSoft platforms, plus automated provisioning with remote management and performance monitoring all the way to the subscriber premise. Patton and BroadSoft’s business relationship dates back nearly a decade, to when SmartNode VoIP gateways first successfully completed interoperability with BroadWorks via formal lab tests. Last year, Patton developed a touchless automatic-provisioning solution for BroadSoft SIP trunks, which Swisscom has adopted for its Business Connect VoIP service.
