The Model 1095 uses a unique multi-rate digital subscriber line (mDSL) technology to transmit data at line rates from 128 kbps to 2.3 Mbps. The NetLink mDSL modem also connects routers, switches or other access devices at distances over 5 miles/8 km using standard 24 AWG/0.5mm wire. The Model 1095 is available in both rackmount and standalone platforms. The standalone unit supports all QuikConnect interface modules (V.24/RS-232, RS-422/530, V.35, X.21, 64k/G.703, Ethernet Bridge and Voice/Data), and supports DTE speeds from 64 kbps to 2.3 Mbps in user-defineable increments. Diagnostics include V.54 and V.52 testing. Both rackmount and standalone units can be configured and managed using in-band SNMP/HTTP capabilities (via the Model 1000MC Proxy Card) or through externally accessible configuration DIP switches.
Our NetLink mDSL rack card Model 1095RC is only 3.5/8.89cm high, allowing up to 16 hot-swappable DSL modems to fit into one 2U high, 19-inch wide rack. The rack can be powered by 90-260VAC or -48VDC single or dual-redundant power supplies. SNMP/HTTP management of all 32 local and remote modems is facilitated by Patton's 1000MC SNMP Proxy Agent. The Model 1095RC works in the same rack with all NetLink products.
