The Model 3022 & 3032 are configured using extended AT commands, and both the local and remote mux can be configured from local port 1 or 2. For hands-off convenience, the Model 3022 & 3032 can be programmed so that they go into Data Mode (ready for communication) when the connected modem raises CD. The Model 3022 & 3032 are also able to perform auto-baud sensing. Both hardware (RTS/CTS) and software (X-ON/X-OFF) flow control are supported.The Model 3022 & 3032 are so small they can plug directly into the DB-25 port of a modem. Sub-channel devices are connected using modular RJ-45 patch cables (see facing page). No AC power or batteries are needed, because the Model 3022 & 3032 draw all necessary operating power from the connected RS-232 devices. The Model 3022 supports selectable sub-channel and main channel data rates up to 38.4 kbps. The Model 3032 supports selectable sub-channel rates to 57.6 kbps, and main channel data rates up to 115.2 kbps.
