GAITHERSBURG, MARYLAND: Patton—US manufacturer of Pro-AV, Unified Communications, and ALL-IP cloud solutions—has successfully shipped the initial production run of the FPX6000 AVoIP Gateway series, the world’s first Dante AV encoders and decoders—despite the global supply-chain shortage of silicon computer chips. “Our first production run on these immensely popular AVoIP gateways has completely sold out,” said Buddy Oliver, VP of Product Management. “We are now taking pre-orders for our next production run.” “With the global supply-chain issues in the computer products industry, future lead times on our FPX6000 Dante AV products are unknown,” Oliver elaborated. “Since demand far outweighs supply for AVoIP gateways, we encourage our customers to plan their projects early and get their orders in now.” Global Chip Shortage The current global shortage of computer chips is widely known among industry professionals.
